Visits to the top wildlife sites in East Africa, including all the well-known large and small game creatures, are included in the 8 Days Best of Kenya Safari. To prevent lengthy road trips, travelers between the parks go by air, and lodging is provided in compact, eco-friendly, self-contained tented campgrounds. With the opportunity to upgrade to a private vehicle, all game drives are conducted in shared 44 Land Cruiser safari vehicles (as a supplement). Additionally, there is the chance to go on a balloon safari (at an extra cost).
In addition to a wildlife drive downtown Nairobi National Park, the itinerary includes a night at a hotel in Nairobi.

From Nairobi, travelers would then take a vehicle trip to the Porini Amboseli Camp, followed by flights from Amboseli to the Samburu Intrepid Club, Porini Mara Camp, and back to Nairobi. From Nairobi, daily trips are made.

Tour Plan

Day 1: Arrival at Nairobi

After being picked up at Nairobi's Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, guests will be transported to the Nairobi Hotel for one night of dinner, bed, and breakfast. Take a sundowner and beverages on a game drive in the Nairobi National Park in the afternoon. If you want to arrive before lunch, purchase Full Board with lunch and additional game activities.

Day 2: Nairobi to Selenkay Conservancy

Drive 128 miles (about 5 hours) south from Nairobi to Selenkay Conservancy, stopping for lunch at Porini Amboseli Camp along the way. After taking a leisurely afternoon tea, check-in is followed by an escorted stroll to a Masaai hamlet where you may learn more about their intriguing culture and way of life. After dinner, take a shower, and spend the night in camp.

Day 3: Full day Amboseli National Park

Drive to Amboseli National Park early in the morning for a morning game drive to observe the elephants up close. Along with a variety of other wildlife, the park is home to both the big five and the tiny five. You will eat a picnic lunch in the park, return to Porini Camp for a break, and then go on a wildlife drive in Selenkay Conservancy in the evening. The evening game drive will culminate with a sundowner at a picturesque location. After dinner, head back to Porini Amboseli Camp for a night game drive using a spotlight to look for nocturnal creatures including aardvarks (antbears), serval cats, bat-eared foxes, and perhaps even the elusive leopard. Day 4 - Amboseli National Park to Samburu National Park

After an early breakfast, drive through Amboseli Park and then to the airport to catch a flight to Samburu. You'll spend the next two nights there and arrive in time for lunch at the Samburu Intrepids Club. This day's afternoon game drive at Samburu National Reserve.

Day 5: Full Day Samburu National Reserve

Game drives are offered in the morning and the afternoon in Kenya's Samburu Game Reserve, which is home to Kamunyak, a lioness well-known for adopting oryx calves. The reserve is home to numerous endangered species, including the Somali Ostrich, Grevy Zebra, and reticulated giraffe. Samburu Intrepids Club hosts dinner and overnight stays.

Day 6: Samburu Game reserve to Masaai Mara National Reserve

After your early-morning game drive in the Samburu National Reserve, you'll fly from Samburu to the Masaai Mara, where Porini Mara Camp will be your home for the following two nights. You'll go on a nighttime game drive to explore the region near the camp and look for the fauna for which the Mara is renowned.

Day 7: Full day Masaai Mara Game reserve

You will have a full day in the Mara after breakfast in your camp, where you may look for lions, the big and small five, as well as other animal species including the leopard, cheetah, hyena, elephant, rhino, topi, eland, wildebeest, zebra, hippo, and buffalo. Take a picnic lunch and see the wildebeest migration and Mara hippos along the Mara River. Dinner and an overnight stay at Porini Mara Camp are optional, as are a champagne breakfast and balloon safari.

Day 8: Masaai Mara back to Nairobi

After breakfast, you'll go on a game drive to the airport before being transferred and boarding the 11 a.m. flight back to Nairobi, which will land at 12:15 p.m.
